Teach Truth Day of Action

This Great Idea comes from the Zinn Education Project which invites individuals and groups (i.e., congregations) to participate in – or create! – a June 7, 2025 Teach Truth Day of Action.

The Zinn Education Project focuses on public education, but our public schools are a litmus test for religious freedom.

Supporting truth-teaching in schools will help ensure that churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples will be able to teach truth in their own buildings and classrooms.

Defend the freedom to learn – including the freedom of speech and freedom of religion!

The notice invites folx to, ‘Host an event at a public site. Select from a range of activities such as a rally, mini-lesson, walking tour, or information table.’

Zinn Educaation Project provides resources, training, and support for all of the above – so volunteers can feel equipped and prepared. They include a media guide and social graphics so publicity is already done!
