This Week’s Practice
In this Season of Pentecost (or “Ordinary Time”) we offer a type of Lectio Divina, or Divine Reading, in which we will read a poem once through with silent pauses interspersed to reflect on a few lines at a time.
Our first (two) and final poems have been selected. We hope you will suggest additional poetry, particularly works from diverse poets that interrupt divisiveness and terror with a sense of belonging, calm, resilience and/or joy. Please send suggestions to Rev. Emily Meyer.
